藏精阁 Star Programs introduces middle and high school students to basic skills & concepts of different subject areas before enrolling in a course at their school. Star Programs are designed for students to get a jumpstart on their high school academic career. You are eligible for Star Programs if you are:
· A middle or high school student (7th – 12th grade)
· Enrolling in the corresponding High School course in Fall 2024
· Open to meeting new people and working in teams
· Ready to take on a new academic challenge
Classes are held Monday-Friday. No class will be held on Juneteenth (June 19th) and Independence Day (July 4th) holidays when the university is closed. All students and parents/guardians will attend mandatory orientation at 9 am on the first day of the program. All programs will hold an Award Ceremony on the last day of the program, guests encouraged to attend and time to be announced.
Program fees include all classroom materials, t-shirt and backpack, lunch every day in the 藏精阁 Cafe, and Before Care (7-8:30 am) and After Care (3-6:00 pm). Students who attend Before Care will also include breakfast in the 藏精阁 Cafe. Any student may participate in Before and After Care.
