Solar Parking
- On the Convocation Arena parking lot (X & W) Xavier has two separate solar systems. Each one is located on the covered parking canopies in both lots. Each works to provide an energy source for the canopy lights.
Solar Art
- Seed Pod Sculpture donated by Dee Dee Morrison The solar-powered sculpture resides in the middle of Xavier's campus across from the KD Chapel. Seed Pod imitates design principles found in nature and is a vibrant, artistic symbol that demonstrates solar power replicating a seed pod. The design concept is of a seed pod that can be dormant for generations but given the right conditions can come alive, bloom, and flourish.
