The M.S. in Pharmaceutical Sciences is a 30 credit hour, two-year program that consists of 12 hours of core courses, 6 hours of thesis research, and 12 hours of pharmaceutical science elective courses. In the first year, students will complete the core courses that include the following:
- Techniques in Drug Discovery and Biotechnology (2 credit hours)
- Ethical Practices in Biomedical Research (1 credit hour)
- Seminars in Pharmaceutical Sciences (2 courses at 1 credit hour)
- Principles of Drug Action I (2 credit hours) 鈥 Principles of Drug Action II (4 credit hours)
- Pharmaceutical Analysis Lab (1 credit hour)
In addition, students will be required to enroll in 6 credit hours of Thesis Research Pharmaceutical Sciences elective courses include:
- Pharmaceutics Lab (1 credit hour)
- 听鈥 Graduate Biopharmaceutics and Pharmacokinetics (3 credit hours)
- Graduate Pharmaceutics I (3 credit hours)
- Graduate Pharmaceutics II (3 credit hours)
