ؾ Hosts Young Women in STEM

Women in Stem

A day-long conference, the event is meant to invite and inspire young women to pursue an interest in STEM-related careers. With the goal of engaging both the young women and mentors to increase the number of young women pursuing STEM degrees in higher education, STEM Goes Red is working to close the gender gap that currently exists in the STEM field.

Entergy signed on as the premier sponsor for the initiative and provided several speakers and mentors for the Conference. The Senior Vice President of Corporate Business Services, Julie Harbert, gave the opening remarks at the event.
