Project title: Fostering informed decision-making on prostate cancer among Clinicians and African American men

Overall goal/objective:

The goal of this study is to advance the translation path of implementing the decision making process in the clinical encounters by 1) adapting the Cancer 101 for African Americans (Cancer101AA) and Values and Options in Cancer Care (VOICE)  educational programs to be suitable for informed prostate cancer decision-making  among AAM of various literacy levels and clinicians of various specialty backgrounds; and 2) assessing the  comparative effectiveness of the two educational interventions after adaptation.
