We welcome you to Xavier University (ؾ), New Orleans, Louisiana and to the United States.Regardless of your native land, once you enrolled or joined our research faculty, you became a valued member of the ؾ Community. The Center for Intercultural and International Programs (CIIP) strives to make your experience a positive one by providing comprehensive support to international students.As international students, you play a valuable role in our goal to expand ؾ’s borders beyond the United States. We encourage you to take full advantage of opportunities to participate in ؾ and New Orleans activities. Your involvement contributes to the rich diversity of the community and enhances the development of greater appreciation for different cultures and peoples.Orientation activities are scheduled at the beginning of each semester to ease your adjustment to the ؾ way of life. Should you have questions or need assistance, the office staff is here to serve you. We are located in St. Joseph Academic and Health Center, Room 312.


OVERVIEW

The Center for Intercultural and International Programs (CIIP) works with the Undergraduate and Graduate Offices of Admission to provide assistance to prospective international students planning to study at Xavier University.

The Offices of Admission collects all the required application documents, makes admissions decisions, evaluates foreign transcripts, issues immigration documents and sends out acceptance packages.International Students study on the F-1 Student Visa at ؾ.Ms. Karen Lee (kwlee@xula.edu), the Associate Director of CIIP is the Primary Designated School Official (PDSO) for the F-1 Student Visa Program and is the primary contact once international students arrive on campus.In addition, CIIP and the Office of Admission also work together to develop and coordinate marketing, advertising and recruitment activities with a goal of attracting more international students to the university.For the overall information, please visit:
