Reflections on Our 2022 Alternative Spring Break Trip to New York City

The Office of Inclusion & Social Justice (OISJ) embarked on an unforgettable journey to the heart of the American Dream: New York City. Our alternative spring break trip was more than just a sightseeing adventure; it was a deep dive into the complex issues of social justice, civic engagement, and community activism.

Transformative Experiences:

Over seven days, we immersed ourselves in the vibrant tapestry of New York City, engaging in meaningful service activities that left a lasting impact. We partnered with local organizations dedicated to empowering marginalized communities, providing hands-on support and learning about the challenges they face.
