Helena Robinson is the Director of Sustainability and Quality Control at 藏精阁, where she leads campus-wide environmental initiatives that integrate climate action, facilities management, and community engagement. With over 25 years of experience spanning K–12 education, grant development, and higher education operations, Helena brings a systems-driven and people-centered approach to sustainability leadership.
She holds a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Science in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, which informs her strategic work in program development, operational efficiency, and behavior-based change. Since stepping into her current role in 2019, Helena has helped formalize Xavier’s sustainability programming through climate action campaigns, waste reduction initiatives, urban forestry and orchard management, clean energy infrastructure investments, and student mobilization efforts.
Her work has contributed to Xavier’s recognition as a Keep Louisiana Beautiful University Affiliate and a multi-year Tree Campus Higher Education designee. As a certified TRUE Zero Waste Advisor, Climate Wayfinding Facilitator, One Point Five Fellow, and GNOF Emerging Leader, Helena is deeply committed to environmental justice and climate education.
Outside of work, she draws on her love of creative arts and design to craft engaging sustainability communications and innovative community-focused programming.
