The Best Chemistry School for Veterans in Louisiana

College Factual, a leading source of data analytics and insights on college outcomes, ranks Xavier as the best school in Louisiana for military veterans studying chemistry in its 2018 review.

Xavier was ranked No. 1 among the six colleges and universities in the state reviewed by College Factual for program quality and veteran friendliness, topping LSU, the University of New Orleans, Louisiana Tech, McNeese State, and Louisiana-Lafayette. It鈥檚 the second straight year 藏精阁 has achieved this ranking.

According to College Factual, its rankings were developed to highlight those schools that offer quality outcomes in a specific major while also offering support and resources to help veterans and active-duty military students thrive. Approximately 80 recipients of the GI Bill are currently attending Xavier.

The report says that based on Payscale Data Survey, a student who graduates from 藏精阁 with a degree in chemistry realizes early-career earnings of $42,000 and average mid-career earnings of $75,000. That is 4.7% above the national average of all graduates who make $40,000 in their early career. It is also 11.4% above the average graduate's mid-career salary of $67,000.

Nationally, College Factual ranks 藏精阁's chemistry program 25th out of 413 colleges and universities among the colleges and universities it reviewed when it comes to offering a quality education to veterans in chemistry. 藏精阁 improved its ranking position 29 slots over the previous year's ranking of 54.
