Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia said the power minister’s irresponsible attitude on coal shortage is not being run by the government BJP

New Delhi:

Talking about the shortage of coal, Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia said at a press conference today that if there is 24-hour stock left in Delhi, we will also have to plan a power cut. Many power plants are facing shortage of coal and plants have also been closed. He said the Union Minister has rejected the shortage of coal and objected to the chief minister writing a letter. The Union minister is making statements on the shortage of coal with irresponsible responsibility. He said that the central government is not running for BJP, the country is not running with them and work is being done to escape responsibility.

Manish Sisodia said the states had warned the Centre about the shortage of oxygen but the Centre did not take any responsibility. Today, the shortage of coal could become a power crisis. The centre’s eye-closing policy has proved fatal. The shortage of coal is actually a power shortage. It’s like putting the country in the pit. The governments of Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan and Delhi are pleading with the Centre but the central government does not want to solve the coal shortage.

He said the Centre is engaged in proving states to be false. Governments run in cooperation, adopt a central cooperation approach. A few days ago, when there was an oxygen crisis, doctors, ordinary people were speaking, state governments were speaking, the Centre was saying that it was a lie. Thousands of people lost their lives then because the Centre did not take any responsibility.

Manish Sisodia said that for the last 3-4 days, CMs across the country have been cautioning the Centre about the coal crisis. Amidst all this, the Union Energy Minister today dismissed the threat of crisis in a press conference, saying the Delhi CM should not write a letter. I am sad that the Union Minister is taking such an irresponsible approach at a time when CM across the country is cautioning the Centre. At such times they are saying that there is no crisis at all.
